Mr. Kieron Jones has nearly two decades of successful leadership and a demonstrated track record of delivering results from preclinical through Phase 3 biopharmaceutical development. With expertise in product and portfolio management, he has effectively led domestic and global cross-functional collaborations and programs, throughout all phases of the project life cycle, with teams simultaneously situated across multiple geographies. Mr. Jones leads by example, mobilizing colleagues with a Green Belt training approach and lean methodologies to optimize efficiency and profitability through collaborative team engagement. His achievements include strategic revenue-generating partnerships and building collaborative long-term relationships in a variety of government and commercial contracting environments.
Previously Mr. Jones held multiple positions of increasing seniority at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies—Texas (formerly Kalon Biotherapeutics), most recently as Director, Commercial Development, where he was credited with building more than $50 million in new business through successful commercial supply agreement negotiations and other strategic partnerships. During his eight years at Fujifilm/Kalon, he led global strategic planning, and managed a $175 million multi-option contract with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). Earlier in his career, Mr. Jones held positions of project manager and program analyst at BAE Systems, Atlantic Marine, Rham Construction, and the Haskell Company. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
