Patty Moore, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Academic Research at the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT).
Dr. Moore joined The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) in June 2016. Her major focus at CPRIT is managing a $2.4B academic research award portfolio and developing new award mechanisms in alignment with input from CPRIT's Advisory Committees and emergent Texas needs along with CPRIT's Chief Scientific Officer.
A former population health executive, Dr. Moore has 20 years of diversified health care and industry experience in public/private hospitals and community clinics, private practices, universities and insurers. She specialized in improving health care delivery to patients and practice transformation through state-wide and national collaborative initiatives and strategic partnerships.
Dr. Moore received her Ph.D. in Health Services Research, Health Policy and Management at Texas A&M University.
