Dr. Waye Leeuwon is a USPTO-certified patent agent with an extensive background that includes university-level research and pedagogy. Dr Leeuwon is currently the Program Manager of Product Development at the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications spanning a range of scientific disciplines, including chemical biology, virology, immunology, gene regulation, and protein modification. Dr. Leeuwon has successfully secured extramural grants and independently drafted and prosecuted several patents. Her domain of expertise covers a broad spectrum, from evaluation and protection of intellectual property to facilitation of start-up ventures and the advancement of technological commercialization.
